Massage Therapists and Estheticians
Ten Thousand Waves is currently hiring massage therapists and estheticians. Below is information about our hiring process. Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 3 nights per week. Massage Therapist and Esthetician Requirements

Applicants should be aware of the following commitments and requirements to be a contractor at Ten Thousand Waves

Therapists and Estheticians must provide with application:

  • Current New Mexico Massage or Esthetician License
  • Before first day of work, we will help Therapists and Estheticians obtain:

  • Liability Insurance
  • Worker's Compensation Insurance
  • CRS number from the State of NM
  • Massage Therapists will be required to take the following classes from TTW

  • Professional Ethics
  • Spa Training
  • Therapists and Estheticians must complete a minimum of 16 CEUs each year

    Availability Requirements

  • Available a minimum of 3 nights per week
  • Available during our high season (July-Oct)
  • Available holidays and weekends
  • Personal responsibility for scheduling and shift coverage

    Restaurant Business Manager
    Our beautiful Japanese restaurant, izanami, is looking for an experienced Business Manager to oversee the entire operation of our 1.5 year old restaurant. Duties include supervising up to five intermediate managers/supervisors, creating staff training and customer service protocols, overseeing the physical plant, coordinating human resource and accounting functions, assuring legal compliance in all areas, interfacing with spa and lodging managers regarding promotions, policies, advertising and guest concerns. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in high-volume restaurants, be familiar with both BOH and FOH operations, possess computer skills and a facility with numbers, and have excellent people skills and an even temperament. izanami is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year for lunch and dinner. This is a salaried 40-50 hour per week position, includes weekend shifts and high visibility during our peak seasons.

    Salary: $50-65K per year plus performance bonus
