Guest Services Staff Member
Ten Thousand Waves has a full-time (30 hours/week) position open in our Guest Services department. Work days/shifts for this position are as follows: Monday, Thursday and Saturday late mornings/early afternoons; Friday late afternoon/evening. Shifts generally range from 4.5 to 8 hours. The Spa is open from 9:00 AM to 10:30 PM during the summer, over weekends and major holidays; from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM during the winter. Additional shifts and hours may be available if candidate is flexible. Previous customer service/hospitality experience is required. Jobs in Guest Services encompass multiple tasks including reservations, check-ins, problem-solving, guest orientations and check-outs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team. Previous cashier experience is required and applicant must feel comfortable using a computer. Dependability and punctuality are essential for success. Background check and credit check required for final candidates.

Salary: $12.00/hr. to start

Temporary Gardening Assistant
This position is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (8 hours per day) through July 15, and Monday-Friday (8 hours per day) from July 15-August 7. The position has an end date of August 15. There will be the potential to pick up additional shifts during this period of employment, and consideration for employment after August 15 is a possibility. Responsibilities include: Assist Head Gardner in implementing Gardening and Landscaping plans of TTW. Maintain gardens, including: irrigation, weeding, planting, pruning, fertilizing, and checking water meters daily. Be able to lift 75 lbs. Possess good time-management skills and work safely and efficiently. Love of the outdoors and willingness to work regardless of the weather. Other important traits: Follows instructions well, focuses on detail, pleasant attitude, good team player, dependable, positive attitude, arrives on time to work, keeps supervisors informed of status of work, and able to work early mornings. Previous experience in gardening and irrigation is helpful.
